尽管都有蕾雅赛杜出演，但《法兰西》与《法兰西特派》却是截然不同的东西，它反倒与《二楼传来的歌声》有着异曲同工之妙，不过是把奥斯陆换成巴黎，把荒诞黑幽变为凄婉吟唱，把全景呈现异化为Simulacra。
本片看似讲述着虚伪的政治正确的新闻手法、明星化的媒体人与全社会不可避免的摩擦、公众普遍的道德滑坡与传统丢失……实则透过媒体人的视角，目送老牌资本主义国家无力回天的失落背影。
最后一幕，由气急败坏的路人将此创作意图推向了极致，女主法兰西倚在背叛者肩头上的含泪笑容则是弱者的妥协
Towards the end of the film, there is an impressive (and strange) scene in which a young man suddenly destroys a city bike with extreme violence. It reminded me of a thought I had last year about such vandalism (people throwing city bikes and e-scooters in the river): “I wondered what could have possibly ignited this sudden impulse of vandalism. Perhaps it has to do with the deep anguish growing unconsciously in us from our intensified relations to smart connected objects
