看似普通平常的两个爱情故事。看完之后想了几个当时感觉奇怪的细节,仔细琢磨了一下,很有趣也很巧妙:
1.如果Louis没有拒绝Maud的诱惑,那么他就可能不会在那个时间点的咖啡店看到骑车的Françoise。
2.在雪中的对话里,Louis说“I have another confession: The very morning we met, I'd just left a girl's place. I'd slept with her?而事实上他并未“slept with her”。
3.Louis和Françoise碰见Maud后,在沙滩上,Louis说:“when I met you, I'd just come from her place”, Louis内心独白:“but - I was about to say, But nothing happened”。他没说“nothing happened”,却改说“she was my last fling”Françoise听到他的这个答案后,反而散去愁眉,解脱开来。
这就是爱情里微妙的心理和强调的非理性。也是候麦电影的有趣之处。

《慕德家一夜》为侯麦《六个道德故事》系列之一。故事讲述一个34岁的天主教徒让-路易斯爱上了一个年轻的女大学生。他偶遇老朋友维塔尔,被邀请到一个性情豪放的离婚女人慕德家中共进晚餐。饭桌上,持有不同道德思想的三人大谈宗教、无神论、爱情、道德、以及哲学家帕斯卡尔的生活与哲学著作等话题。聊到深夜,外面下起了大雪,维塔尔离去,慕德劝说让-路易斯留宿一夜。慕德是情场高手,她极尽挑逗之能事去引诱他
